Hi, I’m Abebe! Kiya and I went to Gambela Region too and with Teacher Abdu drove the school bus again. We managed to film lots of different things during our visit, particularly the traditional ceremonies and dancing. We traveled through dense forests and green, green landscapes. Also we saw the giant BARO river and went across the impressive BARO BRIDGE. We bathed in the river with the local kids and ate lots of fish! The taste of GENFO (maize porridge) and those big, sweet fruits like bananas and papayas were truly amazing. When we returned home we brought some local recipes with us to share with Aregash and our parents and Ujulu, who is from the region, showed us some traditional dance moves to get us dancing.
